Presents

Everybody seems to be listing presents in their blogs, so I'll toss in a couple that I particularly like.
Firstly, the official LOTR Forces of Dark 2005 calendar now hanging over my computer corner in my new room waiting for the first page to be turned come the new year. Got it from my older brother. My younger brother moved out last week and I started moving into his old room today, tonight will be the first night here and the only this year.
Secondly, the comfy black slippers I'm wearing. They're much cooler than my old ones, but my feet still sweat enough to stink when I take them off. My feet don't even have to be warm to get stinky, I'm not very fond of my feet (though I wouldn't want to be without them). I got a bottle of shoe spray from my aunt.
Thirdly, an external USB 2 hard drive. I had filled up my internal one so it was a very welcome gift from my father, I'd have had to get one myself otherwise. It is sitting to the left of my computer. To the right is the tablet and the secondary screen I dug out of a closet and set up today.
Fourthly, two gift certificates for books at different book shops here in Uppsala. I'm a little more happy for the one from mom than the one from my uncle since that store has a much better selection. But both will be very welcome when next year's book sale comes.
Fifthly, an Anna Ternheim CD, "Somebody Outside", from my older brother. I'd never heard of her, but I've already played it all the way through at least ten or fifteen times. I started it over again just a couple of minutes ago, so it's still on the first track "To Be Gone". Warmly recommended though I doubt it'll be possible to find outside Sweden.
Sixthly, a very nice set of rain clothes from dad. This'll be great for backpacking in the summer since I've broken my old rain jacket. I'm planning a trip up to Nordkap, the northernmost point in mainland Norway, around midsummer with plenty of stops for one or two day hikes.
...
-A teeshirt with the text "Normal people scare me"
-An "Åre" teeshirt
-A christmas necktie
-Some horrible american reindeer christmas decoration thingy
-A very nice olive wood hair brush
-Mickey Mouse socks
-Comfy fleece jacket
-Swim trunks
-Aftershave
-Chocolate
-More socks, I always ask for socks for Christmas

Oh, and not to forget the mobile phone I got from my parents as an early present. It is small and white. My old (very old) one broke about a year and a half ago and I was starting to think of replacing it.

Tomorrow morning I go up to Åre, so I won't be online any more this year. So even if it's a little early I'll toss in a
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
