Polar Bears...

... don't come as far south as Sweden. But today they would have felt right at home in Uppsala. It was -25 C this morning. Coldest weather I've been biking in for quite some time. However it's sunny and there's lots of fresh bright snow so I'm not complaining about the weather in any way. Been talking alot of the weather lately, but it's the most exciting topic I can come up with.
Most my time this week goes into preparing for the oral exam I have in plasma physics on Monday. It's alot to read and a big pile of derivations to understand, so I'm having trouble getting my lazy butt in gear and actually study hard. Sure, I sit a few hours every day, but not enough. I'll pay for it these last four days of course, which is a pain but serves me right.
After the exam I have quite a long holiday. Since it's the only exam I have this period and it's right at the start of the exam weeks, I have a couple of weeks free. To make it even better, the end of the period coincides with easter this year so after those two weeks I'll just go straight on with my easter holiday. I'm planning to finally do all those little graphics jobs I've promised my brother I'll take care of. I have an old lab report that needs writing and I'm planning to properly learn Illustrator. If the weather stays this way I also want to spend alot of time outdoors and I might go up to Åre to ski for a couple of days. All this fun to be had... once I'm done with this exam of course.

Comments:
I'm somewhat surprised that with all that cold weather you decided to cut your hair. I have yet to cut mine, and the main reason for not doing so is that it's been really nice to have my long hair keeping my neck warm this winter. Once it warms up I'll probably cut it, and then since I'll be living in Austin I doubt I'll let it get too long.

Yeah, you'll be wanting to cut it soon, especially if you plan on coming at the end of June. Summer in Austin is definitely not fun, but at least you shouldn't have to be outside much.
