Just something that deserves to be spread.

Sometimes you read something that you think should be read by as many people as possible just because it might conceivably make the world a little better
This is one of those times.

I just came back from a party with a bunch of asian exchange students a little while ago. Been eating many delicious Korean dishes that I can't remember the names of (and probably not spell them if I did remember). My own humble contribution to the feast was an apple cake. Since there were so many people I made it twice as big as usual (using a 3 l pan instead of a 1.5 l one)... should have realized that noone would be able to eat much after all the other food ^^
Tomorrow I'm going down to Stockholm with my family to see The Barber of Seville at the Royal Opera. That'll be fun, but I'd almost rather spend the time studying for my finals, I'm getting nervous.

Listening to: The Black Horn - Requiem

What was it like? ^-^ Beef? (Bulgogi) ... Something like semi-transparent noodle with vegetables? (JabChae) hmm..

yes, there were the noodles with veggies. There was also... Kimchi? I think it's called something like that, spicy cabbage salad thingie..., some kind of Korean sushi roll (seemed to be normal sushi without the vinegar), I don't remember the name but was told the meaning of it was simply seaweed-rice (or maybe the other way around), some kind of spicy fried potato dish and a soup with lumps made of potatoes, flour and eggs (in Sweden when we put stuff like that in a soup it's usually called 'klimp' which simply means lump). Oh, and there was some kind of dessert soup too, tasted like sugar water but I managed to finish it with a straight face.
Then there were a couple of Japanese and Chinese dishes as well and then cake and ice cream. We were all stuffed to the brim by the end of it ^^
